Police arrested a Crown Heights woman on Wednesday, after she checked her girlfriend into Kings County Hospital for gunshot wounds and it was discovered the shooter was the same woman who check her in.
According to police reports, the couple, domestic partners, were quarreling at around 5:00am on the corner of Crown St and Kingston Ave, when one of the lovers pulled out a gun and shot her partner in both legs.
The shooter then escorted her girlfriend into Kings County Hospital for treatment. NYPD was notified of a gunshot victim in the emergency room.
After an investigation, the shooter was taking into custody and a canvass was conducted back at the scene where the firearm was recovered.
