The event featured Common performing “Kingdom”, the lead single off his new album Nobody’s Smiling”, a speech by Brooklyn Councilman Jumaane Williams and a silent auction of artwork from talented artists, including 14 year old Skyler Grey, Iconic 32’s youngest art ambassador. All proceeds from the silent auction of the artwork, the street-side food truck, and the suggested event donation, as well as a portion of sneaker sales at BucketFeet, during the event, went to the CommonGround Foundation.
