Screen Shot 2014-07-27 at 4.42.54 PMNew footage has surfaced of another incident where NYPD officers use excessive force during an attempted arrest of a man-- this time in Bed-Stuy.

Officer Joel Edouard, 36, has been put on desk duty after he allegedly kicked 32-year-old Jahmil El-Cuffee in the head during an arrest procedure.

In the video recorded by eyewitness Gary Dormer, two cops are seen trying to arrest Cuffee for rolling a marijuana joint in front of his home on Malcolm X Boulevard in Bedford-Stuyvesant Wednesday.

The video shows the officer in question briefly walking away down the block, then returning to-- what appears to be-- stomp on the man's head, as a crowd gathers and grows more rowdy. Then, the officer briefly pulls out his gun.

After help arrived, El-Cuffee was taken to a hospital with neck and head injuries and charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and marijuana possession.

El-Cuffee has three prior arrests, including one for weapons possession.
