The 71st Precinct has issued the following traffic advisory for motorists and pedestrians who may need to access Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights this weekend.

On Sunday, June 22, at 6:00pm, the Chabad community of Crown Heights will commemorate in an extended ceremony the 20-year anniversary of the Grand Rebbes Passing.

The precinct has been alerted to expect very large crowds at this event at 770 Eastern Parkway . This will require the closing of Eastern Parkway from Brooklyn Avenue to Kingston Avenue from 3:00pm - 10:00pm.

"We will have additional traffic agents to assure traffic keeps flowing," wrote Vincent Martinos, 71st Pct. Community Affairs officer. "If there are any issues or concerns please call 71 Precinct Community Affairs at 718-735-0527 or email me at vincent.martinos@NYPD.org."
