On Saturday, June 14, Bridge Street Development Corporation hosted its 5th Annual Fresh Start Home Resource Expo at Restoration Plaza in Brooklyn.
A free event targeting the residents of Central Brooklyn, the Fresh Start Home Resource Expo connected attendees to a wealth of information and resources related to maintaining and improving their home, whether they own or rent.
Attendees were able to participate in interactive displays lead by sponsors, Home Depot, Renewal by Andersen Windows, Flowerworks, and Thompson's Upholstery and Carpet Cleaning. Additional sponsors include Super Foodtown, Restoration Corporation, Peace & RIOT, Brooklyn Swirl, Lowe's, NYC Department of Housing Preservation & Development and Wavecrest Management.
Information and resources were available including Restoration's Single Stop team, Habitat for Humanity NYC, Neighborhood Housing Services of Bedford-Stuyvesant, and more than 30 nonprofits, government agencies.
