The New York City Police Department announces two recent arrests made within the confines of 81st Precinct in Bedford-Stuyvesant:
On March 21, members of the Brooklyn North Gang Squad executed a search warrant at a location within the confines of the 81 Pct. They arrested a known Bloods Gang member and recovered one semi-automatic firearm, a quantity of controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and $280.
On March 7, Additionally members of the Brooklyn North Gang Squad arrested another individual for possession of a loaded assault rifle within the confines of the 81 Pct.
"These two events are some examples of the dedicated, hard work that the New York City Police Department engages in on a daily basis to make the community safer," said 81st Pct. Deputy Inspector Scott Henderson.
"Our continued partnership will help to keep our neighborhood safe and free of drug dealers and violent gang members, resulting in a better quality of life for all."
