According to the sanitation department, DSNY snow operations continue and all salt spreaders are loaded and ready:
"Plows are being prepared and will be deployed as may be needed. Temporary Snow Laborers will be deployed to clear priority bus stops and crosswalks along major streets.
"Limited residential collection service will be continuing. Residents should leave their material out according to their regular collection schedule . However, there are delays due to snow operations. Snow should be cleared from around material so it is visible and accessible to the sanitation workers.
"Notices of Violation for properly packaged trash and recyclables will not be issued while there are collection service delays. [DSNY thanks] everyone for their cooperation. Litter basket collection service will also be ongoing."
