...Today, we all celebrate a recommitment to fair and effective law enforcement, a robust and active role in the development of our communities and the improvement of quality of life for all Brooklyn residents. We renew our pledge to protect our families, the institutions that sustain our communities and the workers who provide us with the goods and services that improve the quality of our lives.
As your District Attorney, I pledge to do all that I can to make sure that Brooklyn remains a safe place to live, to raise a family, to make a living and to run a business. To that end, I pledge to encourage the highest level of ethical conduct and professionalism from everyone on my staff-- from my executive team and my bureau chiefs, to my line assistants, investigators and administrative staff.
Our office will be committed to enhancing public safety throughout this borough and we will ensure that each and every case before us is handled with integrity. As your District Attorney, I will work hard each and every day to maintain your trust and confidence in the integrity of our office.
