Police are searching for a man who allegedly abducted a four-day-old baby girl Tuesday morning from his home on Lewis Avenue in Bed-Stuy.

According to reports, the baby’s mother called police at around 8:30am Tuesday to report that the suspect, her boyfriend, had run out of the house with their young daughter, who was only four days old.

The suspect is described as a black male, 33 years old, 5 foot 8, approximately 220 pounds. He is wearing a brown jacket.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips at the Crime Stoppers website, or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
