On Sunday, January 12, 2014, at Ingersoll Community Center in Fort Greene, Laurie A. Cumbo was sworn in as New York City Councilmember of Brooklyn's 35th District, covering the communities of Fort Greene, Clinton Hill and parts of Bed-Stuy.
